Come FEAST and Celebrate the Joy of the Season at MØDE
Bringing back our monthly FEAST - MØDE's complimentary monthly gathering built around comfort food and warm company, just in time to celebrate the spirit of the season this December. Each month we will gather with purpose and share a meal with our community to celebrate local flavors, creating connections, and building the memories that tag along with a good meal.
Join us for our second FEAST on Thursday, December 11th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm in the MØDE Cafe, we're welcoming a warm, comfort food spread of homemade brisket chili bowls, cornbread, sourdough, salads, and all the fixings to pull it together, served at 6:00 pm. Stick around to let the kids paint ornaments, indulge in the hot cocoa bar, and gather around our annual Giving Tree - the largest one in the Pacific Northwest - as we light the tree for the first time this season.
Month to month, expect shared tables, dishes made with heart, and the kind of conversation that lingers long after the plates have been cleared. Join us for one FEAST, or join us for all - there will always be a seat at the table for you.
FEAST isn't just a dinner. It's a reminder to slow down, savor, and gather with purpose. It’s complimentary for the whole community so bring yourself, bring your family, bring your friends, invite your neighbors, and bring your appetite - we’ve got you covered.
The Giving Tree Lighting Ceremony
Where? MØDE Pavilion
When? Ceremony begins at 7:00 pm.
The Giving Tree is MØDE’s annual fundraising efforts to provide for local families who may need some extra support around the holidays. It provides all of the winter essentials, household essentials, basic necessities, and some interests for every member of each family that we sponsor. In the past years, MØDE’s Giving Tree has successfully sponsored about 20 families every year. This year, the goal is to sponsor 50.
The official kickoff of the Giving Tree and the tags that hang from its branches will be following the December FEAST on Thursday, December 11th, where the origins and the purpose of it of the tree will be explained. The tree will be lit, and thousands of tags will be hanging from the tree with an age, a gender, and an item for that member of the family. Please join us to participate in this celebration and contribution and effort to give back to the community by attending our Giving Tree Lighting Ceremony, taking a tag, and collecting a gift to bring back for a family in need this Christmas.
Then, return the following weekends to experience A Night in Bethlehem, a complimentary family evening and community tradition that allows you to step back into Bethlehem and experience an immersive and interactive market set in that time, as well as a live nativity performance of the history of Jesus’ coming. The doors open at 4:00 pm, the show starts at 5:00 pm, and stay until 7:30 pm to engage with the Market and Vendors.
